Amanda received her primary dance training from Georgia Academy of Dance and The Performing Arts (GAD), in Peachtree City, Georgia. While at GAD, she was able to develop her skills in ballet, pointe, modern, tap and jazz techniques. At the age of thirteen, she was accepted into the Georgia Dance Theater performance company and danced with them through her senior year of high school. She has been fortunate to dance with several renowned summer dance programs, including the American Ballet Theatre, Nashville Ballet, Brenau University, Ballet Magnificat! and LA Contemporary Dance Company.

Amanda attended Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi, receiving a full dance scholarship upon acceptance. While at Belhaven she had the opportunity to study dance technique, choreography and teaching methods in a concentrated setting. She also performed with the Belhaven Dance Ensemble throughout her college years. In 2012, she received her B.A. in Dance and her B.S. in Psychology.

Since graduation, Amanda has directed the modern dance program at the Lake Arrowhead School of Dance. She has been featured as a resident and guest teacher throughout the central coast of California. In addition to her teaching, she has also earned recognition as a gifted choreographer. Her work has been awarded at several competitions including Dance League, JUMP Tour and LA Dance Magic. In 2015, her work was selected for the Regional Dance America Festival in Sacramento, representing the pacific region. Her goal in teaching is to promote a positive and encouraging environment, while providing quality dance education to her students.
